نص قرآني / حديث شريفAllah says: "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you" (14:7). The Prophet ﷺ said: "How wonderful is the affair of the believer: all of it is good. If something good happens, he is grateful and that is good for him; if something harmful happens, he is patient and that is good for him" (Muslim 2999).
نص قرآني / حديث شريفGratitude has three levels: in the heart (knowing that every blessing is from Allah), on the tongue (saying Alhamdulillah, and thanking people: "Whoever does not thank people does not thank Allah", Abu Dawud 4811, Tirmidhi 1954) and in actions (using the blessing in what pleases Allah).
نص قرآني / حديث شريفA helpful habit: the Prophet ﷺ said to look at those who have less than you, not those who have more, so as not to belittle Allah's blessings on you (Muslim 2963). Try writing three blessings every evening. These are matters of the heart, not of rulings: take what helps you act and ask a qualified teacher if you are unsure.
