نص قرآني / حديث شريف"You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help" (1:5). The hadith says: "This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he asks" (Muslim 395). The verse sits in the middle of the Surah: before it, we spoke about Allah; after it, we speak to Him and ask. Notice the order: worship first, then asking for help. Allah says: "I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me" (51:56). Worship includes prayer, but also honest work, kindness to parents and patience. And "we" is plural: we worship together and ask together, a reminder that faith is lived in a community. Practice today: choose one thing you will do only for Allah, quietly, without telling anyone, and when you find a task hard, say this verse before you begin.
