اسمه وأسرته

Muhammad ﷺ was born in Makkah, a long time ago. His father Abdullah passed away before he was born, and his mother Amina when he was still small, so his grandfather and then his uncle Abu Talib took care of him.

Muhammad ﷺ grew up honest and kind. People called him "Al-Amin", the trustworthy one. When he became a man, Allah chose him to be His last Messenger.

When we say his name, we say "sallallahu alayhi wa sallam" (ﷺ), which means "may Allah bless him and give him peace".
