اليوم الثاني عشر: الشكر والصبر

نص قرآني / حديث شريف

"If you are grateful, I will surely increase you" (14:7). The Prophet ﷺ said: "How wonderful is the affair of the believer: all of it is good for him, and that is only for the believer. If something good happens to him he is grateful, and that is good for him; if something harmful happens to him he is patient, and that is good for him" (Muslim 2999). Fasting trains both. We thank Allah for food when we break the fast, and we practise patience as the hours pass. Today, thank Allah for three small things at iftar and name one difficulty in which you decide to be patient.
