You hear these words every day in the mosque and in the Qur'an.
مسجد (masjid) = mosque وضوء (wudoo') = ablution صلاة (salaah) = prayer قرآن (qur'aan) = Qur'an قبلة (qibla) = direction of prayer أذان (adhaan) = call to prayer إمام (imaam) = imam, prayer leader سجّادة (sajjaada) = prayer mat
Practice: read the list three times, slowly first, then faster, and try to say each word without looking at the meaning. Listen to the adhan and say its words in your heart.
