Sacred Citation & SourceThe Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever gives a fasting person something to break his fast with will have a reward like his, without anything being decreased from the reward of the fasting person" (Tirmidhi 807, hasan sahih). Verse 76:8-9 praises those who feed the needy, the orphan and the captive for love of Allah, saying: "We feed you only for the face of Allah; we want from you neither reward nor thanks." Even a date or a glass of water counts. Today, invite or send iftar to someone: a neighbour, a student, a worker, a lonely person, or give to a community iftar.
