نص قرآني / حديث شريفIn Madinah, the Prophet ﷺ first built the mosque and made brothers of the Muhajirun (emigrants) and the Ansar (helpers), who shared their homes and wealth (Bukhari 2048). He wrote a charter that organised relations between the communities of the city, including the Jewish tribes.
نص قرآني / حديث شريفThe Makkan leaders kept attacking: the Muslims faced them at Badr (2 AH) and Uhud (3 AH). In 6 AH the treaty of Hudaybiyyah brought a ten-year truce, which Allah called a clear victory (48:1). In 8 AH Makkah was opened almost without fighting, and the Prophet ﷺ forgave his former enemies.
In 10 AH he performed the farewell Hajj and delivered the farewell sermon, calling for justice, the sanctity of life and wealth, and the rights of women (Muslim 1218). He passed away in 11 AH (632 CE).
