Sacred Citation & Source"Successful indeed are the believers: those who are humble in their prayer" (23:1-2). Khushu' is a heart that is calm and present. The Prophet ﷺ said: "The closest a servant is to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so make much dua in it" (Muslim 482). Prostration is a moment to ask. In Ramadan, with long nights, we have time to lengthen sujud. Today, choose one prayer to make special. Before beginning, put your phone away, think about whom you are standing before, and in the last sujud make a personal dua in your own language.
