نص قرآني / حديث شريف"Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds" (1:2). The Prophet ﷺ reported that Allah said: "I have divided the prayer between Me and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he asks. When the servant says: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, Allah says: My servant has praised Me" (Muslim 395). Think of what that means: every time you recite this verse in prayer, Allah answers you. Praise (hamd) is more than thanks for a gift; it is admiration for who Allah is, whether or not you receive what you wanted. "Lord of the worlds" reminds us that He is the Creator and Sustainer of everything, not only of us. Practice today: name three things you are grateful for in the morning and three in the evening, and say "alhamdulillah" with attention to each.
