Sacred Citation & Source"Those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and a great reward" (67:12). The verse praises a hidden quality: to keep Allah in mind when no one watches. The next verses give the reason: "Whether you conceal your speech or make it public, He knows what is in the breasts. Would He who created not know? And He is the Subtle, the All-Aware" (67:13-14). This is ihsan, "to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you do not see Him, He sees you" (Muslim 8). The Prophet ﷺ also said that one of the seven whom Allah will shade is a man who remembers Allah in private and his eyes overflow (Bukhari 660, Muslim 1031). Practice today: do one good deed that nobody will know about, and give up one small wrong that nobody would notice.
