Day 6 · Suhur and iftar

Sacred Citation & Source

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Take suhur, for in suhur there is blessing" (Bukhari 1923, Muslim 1095). He also said: "People will remain in good as long as they hasten to break the fast" (Bukhari 1957, Muslim 1098). Suhur does not have to be big; even a date or a sip of water carries the blessing. Iftar is a moment of gratitude, not a feast to exhaust you. Today, plan simple suhur and iftar menus for the first week, with water, a date, protein and something light, and decide who prepares what in your home.
